Where ratio of effort to impact is concerned, Faux Maple is great, once you get the technique down.

Maple lends itself perfectly to cabinet and interior doors. Real Maple is easy to match with faux Maple, as the layers tend to be relatively simple.

I’ve also used Maple for accent on furniture, in flooring and on small decorator items.

Whether you’re painting projects for yourself or clients, you’ll find Maple to be extremely versatile.

At the basic level, it can be painted realistically with minimal effort. Or add heart grain and birds-eyes for more impact.
